Summer is coming to an end...

Yet another summer has come and gone! The thing that makes next week different than any of the others in the past decade is that when I go to work, Clark will be coming with me. CRAZY!!!! He will be in Pre-K this year and I am fortunate to have him at Arbor Springs with me. He doesn't seem extremely excited about starting school, but I know he will love getting to socialize with more kiddos soon. He has been home with me all summer and with the exception of play dates and spend the night dates at grandparents' houses, I have been the one to entertain!
On another note, Lyla Grace is doing well...growing like she should and staying busy lots of the time. We got some good news back regarding the testing with the specialist and we are very hopeful that she will be born a healthy baby! November will be here before we know it and we cannot wait to meet her!

It is unbelievable that Clark will be going to Arbor Springs this year. Only yesterday he was our "blanket baby" and first grandchild. Now he has grown into a young boy asking lots of questions and learning every day. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Lyla Grace and all the joys she will enrich our life with. It is a wonderful world!

Ditto, Mimi. I love that picture of Clark that was taken on his other "first day of school". He was so excited. I hope he'll take to pre-k like a duck to water - and we know how much he likes water!

Lyla Grace is in our prayers as well as many other people's as well. She will be showered with love when she makes her arrival. Can't wait either.

My little nephew cannot be starting school today. He just can't! I remember every detail of rushing to the hospital to await his birth. It seems like only yesterday....

Lyla Grace has been part of our prayers every night. We know God's hand is on her and on your pregnancy. And I can't wait to make the rush to the hospital again to meet my niece - who is so loved already.

Yah-Yah is sending lots of love and prayers to all of you today.
